This Week in Review!
It’s Been an Eventful Week here at SRT!
(July 15, 2019 – July 19, 2019)
SRT Food Drive
We started out this week by successfully donating over 100 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Salvation Army as part of their Summer initiative to end Summer hunger. With school being out, many low-income families no longer have subsidized school lunches to feed their children.
We are proud to have partnered with a great cause to help practically fill this gap for Broward County residents in need.
As Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get but we make a life by what we give.” And we are so grateful to every employee who took the time to make a donation. For in acting as “our brother’s keeper”, we collectively make a difference in the lives of deserving families in our own backyard.
Thank you.
(NOTE: There’s still time to donate to the Salvation Army’s Summer Food Drive, which ends on Friday, July 26th, 2019! For more information, visit https://www.salvationarmyflorida.org/fortlauderdale/)

Lunch & Learn: The Power of Kinesiology
We closed out this week with a dynamic, hour-long workshop discussing the health benefits of movement & stretching (Kinesiology).
At SRT, we seek to make wellness a continued focus in the programs we offer our employees. This week’s Lunch & Learn did just that where we had a General Manager from the Stretchzone come teach our employees about how to practically incorporate beneficial stretching into their routines. We also provided resourceful handouts that attendees could take with them—supplying feasible next-steps in their pursuit of optimal health.
We laughed, we ate, and most importantly became that much more educated about how simple choices we make today will pay dividends for years to come in the form of flexibility, agility, and excellent posture.
Stay tuned for future SRT News Updates!
